I come from a business background holding a degree in Business Management from the University of Newcastle. I believe I'm a people-first person and MindPath has allowed me to create something that is authentic and unlike large tutoring companies, we look to put the student and parents needs first. I believe tutoring fills a hole within education as the classroom environment is not for everyone and can present roadblocks to children chasing their learning goals. Our friendly team places an emphasis on empowering growth within students through effective goal-setting and perseverance when challenges arise. I believe this mindset leads to success in the classroom and in life. In my spare time I enjoy hanging with family and friends, going to the gym, playing cricket, basketball and going to the beach. Ian Harborne

I am an experienced Mathematics teacher, following on from 20 years as a mechanical engineer. I believe my industry experience provides a great opportunity to teach and explain the real world practicalities of mathematics to students particularly moving into technical roles within engineering, business, data and trades where mathematics are a prerequisite. As a teacher of mathematics I see the speed through which schools move through the content and this can sometimes be overwhelming for the students. Therefore to have a tutor assisting you with a further explanation in relatable terms is a valuable resource. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching and playing sports, going to the beach and playing guitar. I look forward to assisting you!
